On 13.08.2025 students from Nazareth College of Arts and Science, including those in the BSW and MSW programs, also toured Hope Special School in Thirumullaivoyal, a unit of the Hope Public Charitable Trust founded by the wonderful visionary leader Dr. V. Nagarani (Founder and Managing Trustee), who recognized the need to empower children with intellectual disabilities towards independent living. The students from the college were able to understand the Hope’s Special School operations, as the amazing staff explained their special activities in the classroom and therapists took students through all of the therapeutic interventions useful in helping the children progress. One of the best segments of the visit was an awe-inspiring orientation session held by Mr. V. Rakesh Sharma, Administrator, Hope Public Charitable Trust who provided career guidance and clarity about the work done at Hope Special School. The learning opportunity provided the students with a meaningful opportunity to appreciate the impact of compassion and special care on others.
