
On May 2025, Hope Public Charitable Trust Shelter forWomen with Psychological Needs in Zone -5 and Division- 61, received a surprise visit from the Assistant Commissioner of Housing( ACHO ). The inspection aimed to evaluate the shelter’s facilities and programs, ensuring they meet the required standards.The ACHO assessed the shelter’s cleanliness and living conditions, providing areas for improvements. In-dept discussions were held regarding inmate details, including their needs, progress and challenges. Vocational training programs reviewed, with a focus on their effectiveness and relevance to the inmates needs. Also provide valuable suggestions for improving vocational training activities, shelter facilities, and all over service delivery. Supervisory Officer and Supervisory Inspector also presented in the meeting. The inspection and feedback from ACHO will help enhance the shelter services and program ultimately benefiting the women residents.
