Events of the year

Every festival, international & national day, and other special occasions are celebrated in the home in which residents are encouraged to participate with a full heart. They are provided with all facilities like sound system, i.e., big speaker, mike, Television, etc. to celebrate the event days in full fledge.

10 OCTOBER 2020 – WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY

A psychological intervention camp was organized by the NGO in which Dr.Vinitha,
The psychologist talked to every resident and advised some psychosocial therapies to follow.

19 OCTOBER 2020 – WORLD POVERTY ERADICATION DAY

Poverty Eradication Day was celebrated as a part of awareness giving. Residents along with the coordinator organized a group song. Coordinator, Ms.Nandhini gave a speech
regarding Poverty Eradication.

25 OCTOBER 2020 – AYUDHA POOJA – NAVARATHRI CELEBRATION

All the residents at Hope Psychiatric Rehabilitation Shelter for Women (MI), along with the staff celebrated Ayudha Pooja. Residents involved in every activity starting from
Rangoli. Residents love to dance so that it became a mandatory program in all the events.
