Students of Hope Special School, a unit of Hope Public Charitable Trust, had the unique opportunity to visit on 21.01.2025 the Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO) Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE) in Avadi, where they enjoyed an exhibition marking CVRDE’s golden jubilee celebrations. The event aimed to educate students about defence R&D technologies. Highlights included lectures by senior scientists, a video showcase of CVRDE/DRDO-developed products, and displays of scale models and original equipment. The students were absolutely thrilled and delighted by the live demonstration of the main battle tank ARJUN.
