“On January 15, 2025, we proudly share the successful reintegration story of Mr. Sankar, a 20-year-old resident who arrived at Hope Public Charitable Trust.
While his family was searching for him, Sankar had gone missing. Fortunately, he was admitted to our shelter home through the intervention of a social worker.
At the time of admission, Sankar exhibited signs of anxiety, low self-esteem, and limited social and vocational skills. However, through our holistic approach and collaborative efforts with his family and the community, Sankar transformed his life.
Today, we celebrate Sankar’s remarkable journey, a testament to the power of compassion and rehabilitation. His story demonstrates that with the right support, individuals with intellectual disabilities can reintegrate into society and thrive.”
