
TO DISCUSS CSR, POLICY, AND SECTORAL GROWTH
On 28th June 2025, Dr.V.Nagarani, Founder of Hope Public Charitable Trust, and Mr. V. Rakesh Sharma, Administrator, participated in the Extraordinary and Annual General Body Meeting 2025–2026 of the Confederation of Associations for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, held at The Clarke School, Mylapore, Chennai. The event was graced by Tmt. S. Madhumathi IAS, Secretary to the Government, Department for the Welfare of the Differently Abled, Tamil Nadu, as the Guest of Honour, and Thiru. Umashankar Kandasamy, Co-Founder of Avtar Group, as the Special Invitee. The programme included discussions on CSR partnerships, amendments to bye-laws, the presentation of the annual report and audited accounts, and key issues impacting the intellectual disability sector. The presence of Dr.V.Nagarani and Mr. V.Rakesh Sharma reflected the active engagement of Hope Public Charitable Trust in policy dialogues and sectoral developments aimed at enhancing the quality of life for persons with intellectual disabilities.
