
On February 4, 2025, Mahindra Lords and Padcare Labs launched a pioneering CSR initiative aimed at promoting menstrual health and hygiene in Chennai. The project, implemented in partnership with Hope Public Charitable Trust and Pledge Foundation, encompasses the recycling of sanitary pads and the installation of a sanitary pad vending machine at Chennai High School. To mark the occasion, a special awareness session was conducted for girl students, featuring talks by esteemed guests, including Dr. V. Nagarani, Founder and Managing Trustee, Mr. Ashok, Advisor of Hope Public Charitable Trust, and V. Rakesh Sharma, Administrator of Hope Public Charitable Trust. The session focused on menstrual hygiene, changes during adolescence, and promoting healthy practices. This collective effort aims to drive positive change, promoting menstrual health, hygiene, and sustainability, and inspiring others to join the movement towards creating a more equitable and sustainable society.
