
Hope Public Charitable Trust recently conducted an insightful orientation session at the Hope Vocational Training Centre in Annambedu, for the students of Madras School of Social Work college, Chennai ( MSSW) the MSW programs focusing on Mental Health and Children and Families, as well as the Disability and Empowerment department.
V. Rakesh Sharma, Administrator of Hope Public Charitable Trust, led the orientation, sharing valuable insights about the organization’s mission and initiatives. The students were also given a comprehensive tour of the training center, during which the trainers elaborated on various activities and programs designed to support their professional development.
This orientation not only provided an overview of the organisation’s work but also helped students understand how they can contribute to the fields of mental health, child welfare, and disability empowerment. It was a promising start to their academic journey, fostering a strong connection between education and practical application in social work.
