Orphanage Celebration of Republic Day on 26 Jan 2023

   On 26th January 2023 between 10.30a.m. to 2.00p.m., HOPE Public
Charitable Trust, Chennai celebrated the Republic Day at its Vocational
Training Centre, Annambedu Village, Poonamallee Block.
Special delegates from Tele Performance Global Service Limited
participated in the programme, inaugurated in the function by lightening
the Kuthuvilakku.

     Dr.V.Nagarani, Founder cum Managing Trustee, delivered the
welcome address and highlighted the project activities in Chennai and
Thiruvallur District and specially the initiative supported by
Teleperformance, Maersk and wellwisher which is benefiting the
Recurring, Non – Recurring Expenses and Building Construction. About
267 children with intellectual disability are the beneficiaries by the trust,
receiving special education, vocational training, and full time rehabilitation
services and so on.

    The Republic Day celebrations followed by flag hoisting &
symbolizing event children’s music and dance programme, fancy dress
competition, special band by our music school became more interesting
and etc. All the sports winners, runners of school student and rural women
honoured prizes and applause.All the participants very much admired the
celebrations with full of joy of entertainment and happiness.

     Between 11.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. an eye screening camp being
organised by M.N. Eye Hospital, Thiruvottiyur, Chennai. About 70 rural
villagers had eye screening and first-aid treatment. 20 village peoples
referred for free cataract surgery and follow-up by the hospital. Special
lunch being arranged for all the participants.

     Mr.V.Rakesh Sharma delivered vote of thanks and the celebration
came to an end with grand success.
