Visit to Omega International School – NIOS Implementation

On 20.04.2026, staff members from Hope Public Charitable Trust visited Omega International School to observe the implementation of the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) programme within a mainstream educational setup. The visit provided valuable insights into how regular educators effectively support students with diverse learning needs through flexible curriculum planning, vocational integration, and inclusive teaching methods. The peer-buddy system and supportive learning environment reflected a strong culture of inclusion and student participation. The experience was especially beneficial for the special educators from HOPE, offering meaningful ideas to strengthen inclusive education practices for students with intellectual disabilities.
