A blessed moment

Visit by an Inspirational Personality
This is an inspirational moment for the staffs and residents of HOPE PUBLIC CHARITABLE
TRUST when a renowned Aerospace Scientist, Dr. G. Satheesh Reddy visited the Shelter Home at
Aminjikarai, Hope Care and Protection Centre for Intellectually Disabled. He is the current chairman of
Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and Secretary Department of Defence R &
D. He also desk – bounds the position, Director General of Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA).
He is a conventional icon for giving significant contributions towards indigenous design,
development, deployment of diversified Missiles & Strategic Systems, Guided Weapons, Avionics
technologies and for sustained efforts in advancement of Aerospace technologies & Industries in
India.
On 10th January 2021, Dr. G. SATHEESH REDDY along with Shri V.BALAGURU, Associate
Director of Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment visited Hope Public
Charitable Trust in order to contemplate through the services done for abandoned children with
special needs and women with psycho social needs. He had a healthy interactive session with the
children of ‘Hope Care and Protection Center for Intellectually Disabled, Aminjikarai’. He also had a small
casual interaction with the residents and staffs of ‘Shelter for Women with Psycho Social Needs,
Egmore’, virtually.
Dr.SATHEESH REDDY was escorted with his guards and other officials, went through the
handicraft items made by the children and appreciated the young hearts for their wonderful job. He
appreciated the amazing works done by the children, and was mesmerized to see the activities
done by the Trust to uplift children with special needs.
He discussed the development and challenges faced by the NGO during this pandemic with the
Managing Trustee, Dr. V. NAGARANI, Administrator Mr. V.RAKESH SHARMA and other staffs. He
was impressed by the dedicated service of the trust.
The visitant along with the children and staffs cut the cake and celebrated the moment. It was
a proud moment for the trust when he addressed and appreciated the services of Hope Public
Charitable Trust. He was impressed to know that the trust was recently awarded the best NGO
Award by the Government of Tamilnadu.
