
TIRUVALLUR, APRIL 2, 2025: The Autism Awareness Day Rally 2025 was held at the Collector Campus in Tiruvallur today, with the aim of promoting acceptance, inclusion, and support for individuals with autism. The event, organized by Hope Public Charitable Trust, drew a gathering of nearly 200 people, including special needs students, parents, teachers, and members of the public. The rally was flagged off by Hon’ble Collector Thiru. M. Prathap, I.A.S.The program agenda included a cake-cutting ceremony, music performance by Hope Harmonious Rockers, and gift distribution for children with autism. A special address was delivered by the Hon’ble Collector, emphasizing the importance of promoting awareness and acceptance of autism. Guest of honor Mr. S Srinivasan, District Differently Abled Welfare Officer, Tiruvallur District, also attended the event. To further promote awareness, autism awareness brochures were distributed to the public. Dr. V. Nagarani, Founder/Managing Trustee of Hope Public Charitable Trust, said, “We are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals with autism. This event is a step towards promoting awareness and acceptance.”The event concluded with a rally procession led by Hope Harmonious Rocker’s band marching, followed by a vote of thanks
