
Today, the students and staff of Hope Vocational Training Centre for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, a unit of Hope Public Charitable Trust, conducted an insightful awareness program aimed at educating individuals about their voting rights and responsibilities as Indian citizens. The event, held at the centre’s premises, focused on empowering participants with knowledge about the significance of exercising their right to vote in a democracy like India. Through engaging discussions and interactive sessions, attendees were enlightened about the electoral process, the importance of participating in elections, and the impact of their votes on shaping the nation’s future it also nurtures individuals with intellectual disabilities to be a responsible citizen. By educating them about their voting rights, it aims to empower them to become active contributors to the democratic process.” In line with its commitment to inclusivity and social responsibility, Hope Public Charitable Trust continues to spearhead initiatives that promote civic engagement and empowerment among marginalized communities.
