The medical camp was conducted at Hope Shelter for Women with Psycho-Social
Needs
, with the support and cooperation of Greater Chennai Corporation on 1st October 2020. Government Officials like, SO, SI, AE, etc. addressed the event. A Doctor along with two lab technicians and a staff nurse checked the residents of the shelter home. The staff nurse from the home, Mrs. Premavathy V supported the medical staff from GCC to check the health conditions of the residents. Samples were collected from everyone in order to do the COVID – 19 tests.
The camp was successfully organized under the guidance of Dr. V. Nagarani, Managing
Trustee and Mr. Rakesh Sharma, the Administrator of Hope Public Charitable Trust. The
The coordinator and Care Giver of the shelter home, Ms. Nandhini, and Mrs. Sridevi, respectively gave their hands and support to make the event successful.
The residents explained their physical difficulties to the medical professionals and were given health advice. The doctors gave the details regarding medicines of each
resident to the staff nurse of the shelter home.
