“HOPE PUBLIC CHARITABLE TRUST“
Hope Trust is non-governmental organisation striving to remove stigma, create awareness and empower mentally challenged community by catering to the needs of about 110 special children from poor socio-economic background.Currently we are running a Special School for mentally challenged children, recognized under State Commissioner of Differently Abled at Ambattur and a Care and Protection centre for abandoned mentally retarded boys at Aminjikarai. These children are identified and collected through child welfare centre and police stations. Children are given special education, rehabilitation, vocational training, physiotherapy, occupational and speech therapy.
