Autism Awareness Day Rally 2025 Unites Kanchipuram in a Call for Inclusion and Support

TIRUVALLUR, APRIL 4, 2025: The Autism Awareness Day Rally 2025 brought together a diverse crowd at the Collector Campus, Kanchipuram, advocating for acceptance, inclusion, and support for individuals with autism.

Organized by Hope Public Charitable Trust, the rally saw an overwhelming response, with over 200 participants, including special needs students, parents, educators, and community members. The event was inaugurated by Hon’ble Collector Kalai Selvi Mohan, I.A.S., Kanchipuram District Collector, who reaffirmed the importance of building an inclusive society where individuals with autism are empowered to thrive.

The event featured a cake-cutting ceremony, an electrifying musical performance by Hope Harmonious Rockers, and a heartwarming gift distribution for children with autism. A special address by the Hon’ble Collector highlighted the urgent need to foster awareness, acceptance, and accessibility for individuals on the autism spectrum.

Adding to the event’s significance, Malar, District Differently Abled Welfare Officer, Kanchipuram District, also extended her support. To amplify awareness, autism awareness brochures were distributed to the public.

Speaking at the event, Dr. V. Nagarani, Founder and Managing Trustee of Hope Public Charitable Trust, stated, “Our mission is to create a world where individuals with autism are not just accepted but celebrated. This rally is a powerful step towards that vision.”

The event concluded with an inspiring marching rally procession led by Hope Harmonious Rockers, symbolizing unity and advocacy. The day ended on a note of gratitude with a vote of thanks, leaving a lasting impact on all who attended.
