Each center came alive with joy, enthusiasm, and pride as the residents, staff, and well-wishers joined together to honor the 79th year of India’s independence.
The celebrations began with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, which echoed with pride across all three centers. The tricolor fluttering high instilled a sense of belonging and reminded everyone of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.
Residents actively participated in the programs by performing patriotic songs, dances, and short skits, showcasing their talents and spreading the message of love for the nation. Teachers and caretakers guided them in preparing for the events, ensuring that every individual, regardless of ability, had a role to play in the celebration.
The premises were decorated with tricolor balloons, handmade flags, and Rangolis, adding a festive and patriotic touch. The joy and excitement of the residents were evident as they celebrated the day in their own special way, filled with smiles, laughter, and pride.
The program concluded with the distribution of sweets and refreshments, making the occasion even more delightful.
